New spindle lathe KL 285 SY

SANBORN latest investment - two spindle lathe KL 285 SY with a bar feeder from czech manufacturer Kovosvit MAS was put into operation beginning of July 2021. This machine will expand our production capacity in the field of productive machining of smaller precision parts from bar material.

  • maximum possible turning diameter is 285 mm and max turning length is 550 mm
  • bar feeder for semi-finished products up to a length of 1100 mm with a diameter of 6 - 65 mm
  • 12-position turret, tool holder VDI 40 
  • direct measuring on X and Z axis for maximum turning accuracy 
  • continuously controlled C axis
